The Android subsystem for Windows 11 is finally here. Although the feature was available to Insiders as early as 6 months ago, the difference is that now any Windows 11 21H2 user can install and use the Android app.
However, according to Microsoft’s Android Beta, to install and use an Android application, a user’s device must meet five main requirements. Of course, before meeting the requirements to run Android apps, your device must also meet the Windows 11 requirements.
Here are the completion requirements to run Android apps on Windows 11 21H2:

Currently, the Amazon AppStore supports over 1,000 Android apps, but before downloading, make sure your device locale is set to US and the language used is English.
As long as your device meets the above requirements and has the latest optional update for Windows 11 (KB5010414) installed, you can experience the preview version of the Android app. These 1,000 Android apps include Audible, Kindle, Subway Surfers, and more.
Download Android apps from the Amazon Store in the Microsoft Store just like any other app from the Microsoft Store. Although these Android apps are downloaded from the Amazon Appstore, these Android apps are actually also available through the Microsoft Store.
Android compatibility for Windows 11 is a result of the Linux-based Windows Subsystem. Android compatibility is not limited to the Amazon AppStore, so you can manually load apps without changing your country or language to US (English).
