Microsoft Edge has been the built-in browser from Windows 10. On Windows 11, Microsoft has made it more difficult to set third-party Apps as the default ones including browsers. As Chrome, Firefox, Safari are more popular than Edge and are more functional than it, many users may find a way to uninstall Edge from Windows 11, in order to improve their working efficiency.

Step 1: Enter cmd in the search box on Start Menu;
Step 2: Click Run as administrator on the right of the interface;
Step 3: Enter the following code in the prompt, seeing the picture for example.

cd %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\9*\Installer

Run CMD with Administrator

Step 5: Check your Edge version:
Click Edge icon on the task bar to launch it -> Click Settings and more on the top right corner ->Scroll download to click Help and feedback and select About Microsoft Edge

Step 6: Copy the version number and paste it into the cmd prompt to replace the number 9*

cd %PROGRAMFILES(X86)%\Microsoft\Edge\Application\9*\Installer

Step 7: Press Enter to complete the uninstallation of Edge on Windows 11.
