Click and hold the left mouse button and gently drag the file or folder.

Hold down the left mouse button and press Alt+Tab on the keyboard to see all open applications

2. Split screen to open two windows

4. Edit the registry to drag and drop files or folders
Press the Win + R keys on your keyboard to open Windows Run.
Type regedit in the Run dialog and click the OK button.
Enter the following path in the address bar to navigate the path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell\Update\Packages

Right-click on the right screen space, select New and select DWORD (32-bit) Value.

The name of the input value is UndockingDisabled.

Right click on it and select Modify

Enter the value one (1) in the Value data field.

Click the OK button to apply the changes and save.
Close Registry Editor and restart your computer.
